I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share my story at this year’s 6th Annual Go Red For Women Luncheon. Mine is a story of sadness and loss; of healing and survival, and of somehow emerging stronger, and more passionate than ever before. At the young age of 20, I realize I am alive today because of the kindness of strangers, the research funded by the American Heart Association and the wonder of advanced technology. Please plan to join me on November 1st!
Get inspired. Get informed. Join health and fitness experts, medical professionals, and women like you to hear the concrete steps you can take today for better heart health.

A Fit Life
How Daily Exercise (and a healthful diet) Can Lead to a Healthy Mind and Body
Marianne Lillard, RN, Director of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Program, will talk about the science of exercise, recent studies about its benefits and how a daily exercise routine can improve your overall health. She will also discuss how much, how often and how hard you should exercise to reap its benefits, what different age groups should be aware of and the role of a healthy diet.
